Our
new Prayers of 'Hail Mary' and the 'Rosary'
"Hail
(Mary) full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed
art thou amongst women", embodies the words
used by the Angel Gabriel in saluting the Blessed
Virgin (Luke, I, 28). The second, "and blessed
is the fruit of thy womb (Jesus)", is borrowed
from the Divinely inspired greeting of St. Elizabeth
(Luke 1:42), which attaches itself the more naturally
to the first part, because the words "benedicta
tu in mulieribus" (I, 28) or "inter
mulieres" (I, 42) are common to both salutations.
Finally, the petition "Holy Mary, Mother
of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour
of our death. Amen." is stated by the official
"Catechism of the Council of Trent"
to have been framed by the Church itself. "Most
rightly", says the Catechism, "has the
Holy Church of God added to this thanksgiving,
petition also and the invocation of the most holy
Mother of God, thereby implying that we should
piously and suppliantly have recourse to her in
order that by her intercession she may reconcile
God with us sinners and obtain for us the blessing
we need both for this present life and for the
life which has no end."

Our
new prayers come to us at a critical time when the awakening
of all hearts to a greater depth of love and peace is
being called forth from all persons. After centuries
of dominant masculine energy upon the earth plane, it
is the Divine Feminine within each of us who calls to
us now. A resurrection of divine grace and compassion
in every moment of our daily lives is necessary in order
that mankind realize a greater destiny of peaceful coexistence
in the Mother's paradise on earth. We offer prayers
in adoration of the divine feminine principle within our
own beings, for the protection and guidance of our children,
for protecting and healing our beloved Mother Earth, to
assist mankind with our ascension into the light, and
for the souls of the infirmed and dearly departed.
I
have included via the links below a few references to
the historical and contemporary uses of the Hail Mary
and the Rosary for anyone who may be interested in learning
more about the Christian perspective of devotional prayers
to Mother Mary. From my personal research on the
matter, there seem to be many versions and different accounts
of how and when the Rosary came into being. Of greater
significance, perhaps, is the nature and timeless practice
of offering prayers and salutations in devotion to the
Divine Mother of God. It is a sacred treasure to
countless people and in several religious traditions.
What
is not often recorded in the historical perspective are
the meaningful personal prayers uttered by individuals
of all walks of life, and our personal experiences of
and with the Blessed Mother. Mother Mary is known
to have made appearances to many persons throughout time.
As well, She reveals herself in common occurrence as an
apparition often captured in photographs. Some of the
photos have been reproduced in Mother
Mary's Prayer Garden in this website.
The
New Rosary Prayer (also referred to as 'A Rosary for the
New World' and "Mother Mary's Ascension Rosary")
comes to us through the personal experiences of two women
who have made devotion to the Divine Feminine through
Mother Mary a focal point of their lives. In May of 1996 after
practicing devotion to Mother Mary for many years, Ileah
Moore traveled to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at
Mother Mary's direction leading large events to anchor
Her light and love into the people. Following the
popularity of these events and in response to the hunger
of the people for Mary's teachings, Mary requested that
a book be brought forth via Her channeled message.
"Mother
Mary's Teachings for the New World" is the result. The
book includes a CD recording of prayers given by Mother
Mary.
Sylvia
Clarice McChristy was born on Christmas day. Her work
is the synthesis of the East and West - of Lord Gautama
Buddha, Lord Jesus the Cosmic Christ, and the Holy Mother.
In 1992, the Blessed Mother requested Sylvia to use the
name Mary-Ma or Mary Clarice McChrist as an expression
of her work for Jesus and Mary in this Age. Mary-Ma
created a prayer grotto in Mount Shasta, California in
1992 and in 1993 she joined with Ileah Moore in creating
TassaHanalai B&B Retreat Center, grotto and shrine
to Mother Mary in Kauai, Hawaii. The new millennium began
with the creation of Our Lady of All Nations Peace Garden
in Dunsmuir, California. Mary-Ma now directs Source
of Universal Resources Cycling Eternally (SOURCE), a 501c3
non-profit which includes The
Mother Matrix and Lotus Rose Publications.
